It’s always good to alleviate some of those unknowns, and here’s are chance to answer some of the questions of what you can expect from your consultation visit at Maple Orthodontics:
Is there a cost for the consultation visit?
No. Some orthodontists do charge for an initial consultation, but Maple Orthodontics is happy to offer a complimentary initial consultation to help start your or your child’s orthodontic experience.
Does my insurance cover orthodontic treatment?
Maple Orthodontics accepts most insurance plans and you will work closely with the treatment coordinator at your initial consultation to receive your maximum benefits possible.
Will I be waiting?
Hopefully not at all! We take great pride in having minimal wait times. We have complimentary coffee, water, hot chocolate, and tea along with magazines and Wi-Fi to help keep you entertained. There’s also a play area for small children.
What will happen?
The main thing is to get a sense of what treatment is right for you or your child. X-ray scans may be used to get an impression of the mouth. The equipment used for the scan will vary depending on the type of treatment you’re interested in; for example, we use an iTero digital scanner for patients looking for get Invisalign®.
Any necessary documents?
If at all possible, we highly recommend that you bring any documents detailing the medical and dental history of the patient. The more knowledge we have upfront, the better equipped we are to create a plan that’s best for you or your child.
Do I choose the treatment plan?
In many ways – yes. We offer traditional metal, clear and ceramic braces as well as less impactful treatments like Invisalign®. The results of the x-ray scans will determine what options are available for you and your child.
